Coping with trauma-related issues has been the focus of my clinical work over the past 5 years at the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Houston.ᅠ In conjunction with Baylor College of Medicine's Department of Psychiatry, I have managed numerous research studies for combat veterans suffering from PTSD (posttraumatic stress disorder), anxiety, depression, substance abuse, bipolar disorder and for those at risk for suicide.

Other areas of interest include: post-partum depression, relationship/divorce issues, career assessment and planning, stress reduction (with an emphasis on exercise and mind-body connection). I have lived overseas and also would like to help those new to Houston having trouble adjusting to a new geography and culture with potential language barriers.
