If you are seeking help from a therapist/counselor, the type of services recommended will be determined at the Initial/Diagnostic Session and with your specific goals and needs in mind.  The decision will collaborative in that the decision made will be discussed between you and your therapist.  It is important to keep in mind that while the recommended treatment plan is intended to help you get on the path toward a happier life, it is not always easy or fun.  The treatment recommendations made by your therapist may include Individual Counseling, Family/Couples Counseling, Group Counseling, Outside Support Groups, or a referral to a professional outside our office such as a dietician, a psychiatrist, or other medical professional.
